Last weekend, my mom and I went to Sarasota to see Madama Butterfly. It was the first time I had ever seen that particular opera and I absolutely loved it. Asako Tamura brought a lot of heart and depth to Cio-Cio-San (aka Madame Butterfly). Her movements, facial expressions, and tone of voice made the character come to life. I took Rufus out for his birthday dinner a few hours ago. As soon as I came into his house, he called my name and tried to pull me out the door.
